According to the Bangkok Declaration and Five-Year Strategic Plan issued at the 4th Forum for ASEAN-China Private Higher Education Development and Cooperation and the 2nd Annual Meeting of ASEAN-China Alliance of Private Higher Education Institutions (ACHPHEI),theACAPHEI launched the 2023 online learning project and joint research project in early 2023, both of which have been successfully completed. The projects are highly recognized by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Regional Institute for Higher Education Development (RIHED) and teachers and students of participating institutions.

The projectswere participated in by 6 universities from China and about 10 institutions from the ASEAN region (Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar).Twelve lecturers from China and seventeen lecturers from ASEAN countriesjointly developed the online course on the fields of finance, illustration, AI and language technology. The courses were released on the Xinwei online education platformwith about 90 students from China and other foreign member universities participating in the study. Faculties and students from USY participated in the construction and study of courses including financial management, language development and business.The project was successfully implemented and achieved fruitful results.Students who finished the online course learning and pass the assessment received course certificates jointly issued by the universities which co-built the course.

The 2024 student online mobility program and faculty joint research project have been launched. The course number has increased from 4 in 2023 to 8, more students are enrolled in the online courses learning project.Student representatives who have good performance will attend the4th Annual Meeting of ACAPHEI in Bangkok, Thailand to report on project outcomes.
